It is notable for appearing to change colour, most notably when it glows red at dawn and sunset. The park is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Uluru- Kata Tjuta National Park's flora represents a great portion of the plants found in Central Australia with several endangered as well as rare species. Hunting is largely confined to red kangaroos, bush turkey, emu and lizards. The city attracts visitors throughout the year. Dawn and nightfall are lauded as revelatory experiences, well worth camping overnight to observe. The city promises a unique experience that cannot be matched.
